May the memories of the Colorado home be kind while you are there. I have The God of the Wood but I haven't had the chance to read it yet. I just finished read you A Very Bad Thing ARC (my review is on Goodreads). WOW! Such a fantastic mystery! Great twists and turns. I am very much looking forward to your next release!
I hope your time in Colorado isn’t to hard/sad. I’m also in the land of tornadoes. I think i agree I’d rather have a hurricane because you get more notice. Both are scary though. I finished Alex Segura and Rob Harts Dark Space. So so good. And now I have to pick.. I’m either going to finish the ACOTAR series or pick from my Bouchercon stack. I CAN NOT WAIT for The Last One! I absolutely love Rachel’s books.
I live in the land of tornados, but hurricanes freak me out! My nieces daughter JUST moved to North Redington Beach last week. They live on the 3rd floor of a concrete building (1 block from the beach) and her and her boyfriend stayed. He's a native to FL and this wasn't his first hurricane. They made it through the storm, thank goodness. Hope everyone stays safe in the storms path!
My parents sold my childhood home 6 years ago and it was hard. They lived there for 44 years. Going through everything with them to downsize was both horrible and amazing. The memories that came back! Good luck with your parents!
I read REMEMBER HER NAME by Lisa Regan. I love the Detective Josie Quinn series!
I'm almost done with SEX AND VANITY by Kevin Kwan. I believe I've read all of his books now. I just LOVE his writing style and his wit!
It's funny, I'd rather have a hurricane because you have so much more advanced notice. Both make me feel helpless, which is probably why I study them so closely. Glad your grandneice is ok!!!
Mom moved from the hospital to a rehab place so that's been an adjustment, but it seems to be going well so far. So glad you are loving The God of the Woods!
I hope that it's an upgrade of her health to get out of the hospital, Brandee. Sending good thoughts. Amnd another great list! Let me know what you think about Bunny. I have it and haven't read yet.

Oh my goodness. We were just evacuated from there. We vacation in Indian Shores for two weeks every September. We left early Wednesday morning.
Crazy the effect of the storm on the entire coast. Our hearts are broken for our little beach town.
Hope your family is well! Prayers this morning for all!
Hope everything is okay for you and yours, TM!!!
Stay safe, everyone!

I’m in a reading slump. 😢
Do you like to reread at all? I usually go back to a favorite to break me out.
I do! And there’s a book I definitely want to reread.
Sounds like a weekend project to me!
