I'm also trying to embrace the "Go slower, do less" mentality as I recover from surgery. It's not as easy as it sound for a type A personality. I am the person who tried to work from home the day after I got home from the hospital while still on narcotics...oops.

I started going back into the office for a few hours a day this week and that's been amazing....especially from a social aspect.

While working part time from home, all I've done is READ!

I finished my Abby Jimenez read a thon. I finished The Friend Zone, The Happily Ever After Playlist ( this was my favorite), and Life's Too Short. I like this author a lot, especially when I need something lighter and funny!

When I need something slightly darker....I read Face Her Fear by Lisa Regan. This is a series and it's so good.

I also just finished At the River by Kendra Elliott. Another series and also very good.

Apparently, I really like books with strong female leads that are in law enforcement...lol

I woke up to SNOW this morning in southeast Nebraska....what the heck? We all thought spring was here, but it's Nebraksa...enough said!

Happy reading and happy weekend!

Just ordered Slow Productivity. And I'm (finally) reading The Outlander. And This Time Tomorrow by Emma Straub. ~ Isn't it so great when a new months comes along and it's once again time to set new goals? I use a bullet journal as well, and love it. 😊

It’s been one of the longest toughest weeks of the school year. I’m physically and mentally just worn out. I’m going to do as little at possible this weekend. I finally started Hank Phillippi Ryan’s One Wrong Word last night. 9 more school days and then spring break!! Not that we are counting or anything 😂.

I'm taking things off of my to do list, too, and it's fabulous. Thanks for making the suggestion and setting that pace.

I am looking forward to reading Cal's new book! I've got DEEP WORK to read again first.

I'm late to commenting because my kiddos were off Friday for the first day of spring break and it was chaotic all weekend. However, I wanted to get on here and tell y'all that I read A COURT OF MIST AND FURY and A COURT OF WINGS AND RUIN. I'm left breathless by them, and I feel that they were a what if based on our nation's problems. Amy, thank you for encouraging me to read these books and JT I can see why you wish you could read them again for the first time.
